ISO 27001

What is ISO 27001?
It is an internationally recognised and independent standard for Information Security Management Systems. It provides a checklist of 133 best-practice controls which must, as a minimum, be considered for use in the organisation's information security control framework.

These information security controls encompass the organisation as a whole and include: Technical Procedural HR   Legal compliance Marketing ISO 27001 is a rigorous standard to achieve and maintain.  In addition to a two-stage certification process, it requires annual internal and external audits to ensure ongoing compliance.  The senior management at the certification body then need to sign against the level of risk identified in the audit process. Is Foreshore certified? We have been ISO 27001 certified and will undergo continuing annual assessment visits by independent certification auditor, the British Standards Institution (BSI).
