Datacentres

We are committed to zero power downtime; this means that the design point from inception was to build a power and environmental infrastructure with no single point of failure. All critical systems in our datacentre are duplicated or are provisioned using N+1.

Our constant monitoring ensures that any problem receives immediate attention. This level of design and fault tolerance is aimed at businesses where the reliability of service to customers is paramount.

Infrastructure design includes the following:

  • Two independent sources of electrical supply from separate transformers
  • Two distribution restoration standby generators on site
  • Duplicated UPS systems including maintenance bypass
  • Power distribution utilising critical power distribution units connected with static switches and including maintenance bypasses
  • Dual radial individually fused circuits to client racks and equipment
  • Fire detection system with a mixture of optical and ionisation detectors in floor, room, and ceiling voids
  • Fire suppression system utilising FM200 gas in floor and room
  • N+1 redundant self contained full function, close coupled, DX down flow units
  • Temperature and humidity monitoring and control to maintained 21° centigrade +/- 2° and 50% relative humidity +/- 10%
  • Access control system using proximity card readers. Pin numbers required in addition to card for datacentre areas
  • Digital CCTV monitoring and recording system
  • Water leak detection system
  • System monitoring by IS1000 building management system

Irrespective of whether your business is a stand alone e-commerce company, a subsidiary providing an internet delivery channel or offshore business contingency planning, our facilities are sufficiently flexible to meet a wide range of business applications.
